Delivery, Terms and Returns






We can deliver to virtually any address in the world.

UNITED KINGDOM delivery options

FREE standard delivery: we offer FREE delivery on all orders sent via standard delivery to a UK address. Orders are normally sent via Royal Mail Second Class and are dispatched daily Monday-Friday. We reserve the right to use an alternative shipping method and service (e.g. courier) due to order value, weight and/or size. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery.

Signed For Delivery: If you require enhanced service and peace-of-mind, please choose the Signed For option which is charged at £1.50 per order. This option requires a signature upon delivery. We use Royal Mail Second Class Signed For service for this option. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery. 

First Class delivery: we'll send your order using Royal Mail First Class - please allow 1-3 days for delivery.

Next Day Guaranteed: if your order is urgent, please choose the option "Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm" which is charged at £8.50. Orders must be placed by 3pm (GMT) to be sent the same day or they will be sent the following day. Orders placed on a Friday will be delivered on a Monday, orders placed on Weekends will be delivered on a Tuesday. This option requires a signature upon delivery and you will be provided with a tracking number - your order should be delivered by 1pm the following day. Please ensure your dedicated address applies to this service prior to placing your order (please see restrictions of this service on Royal Mails website here (external link pops up in new window

European Union (central), Switzerland and Norway: flat delivery fee of £7.50.

For peace of mind of safe arrival, we send ALL parcels with destination Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania using a courier service where you'll be provided with a tracking numberso you can follow it's progress all the way. Delivery fee £15.

For the Rest of the World, your shipping cost using standard AIRMAIL is £13.95.

We currently restrict the delivery to a few countries (incl. Russia, Syria) due to unsecure situation, so please do get in touch with us for a delivery fee quote.




1. Our Contract

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Funky Rascal, The Loft at Lawhead of Radernie, Cupar, Fife KY15 5LN (we and us) to the customer (you). Our VAT number is 995455855.

1.2 All orders placed by you and purchases of goods from us (whether in-store, by telephone, via our website or by such other means as we may permit) are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and are subject to acceptance by us either (as applicable): (i) us delivering the goods to you; or (ii) by providing the goods you have purchased to you at the trade counter, at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between you and us.

1.3 The processing of your payment and acknowledgment of your order (including sending you an email confirming your order is being processed) does not constitute legal acceptance of your order.

2. Ordering

2.1 On our website, you may place an order to purchase a product advertised for sale by following the onscreen prompts after clicking on the item you wish to purchase. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you place your order by clicking the "Place order and pay" button on the checkout page.

2.2 All orders placed by you and purchases of goods by you from us are subject to acceptance by us (as described in clause 1.2). We may choose not to accept your order or purchase for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.

2.3 Where we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with these Terms and Conditions.

3. Price & Payment

3.1 All prices are in GBP which is the only currency we currently accept.

3.2 The price payable for the goods you order or purchase is as set out in store and on our website at the time you submit your order, plus any charges for delivery as advised to you. All prices include the current applicable VAT rate unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Occasionally, we advertise goods at a promotional price; you must quote the relevant promotion code, otherwise you may be charged the full price.

3.4 Occasionally, an error may occur and goods may be either incorrectly priced or described in which case we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or in accordance with the incorrect description or at all. We reserve the right to correct any errors from time to time. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description. If we are unable to contact you or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price or correct description, we will cancel your order and refund the price you have paid.

3.5 We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order and purchase, and any applicable charges for delivery, before your order can be processed unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.

3.6 For website orders, payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards, by completing the relevant details on the checkout page.

3.7 By using a credit/debit card to pay for your order or purchase, you confirm that the card being used is yours or that you are authorised to use it. By using PayPal you confirm that the PayPal account being used is yours.

3.8 All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. All PayPal payments are subject to authorisation by PayPal. If the issuer of the card or PayPal refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order or purchase, we will not be obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal, and we will not be liable for the item not being delivered or provided to you. We are not responsible for the card issuer or bank charging the holder of the card as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order or purchase or if PayPal charges you for making the order.

3.9 We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details or PayPal details and password to anyone, including us, by email. We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by email. Any such loss shall be entirely your responsibility.

3.10 If you are a trade customer, you are responsible for all orders placed by your employees and for any purchases made on cards issued to you (including Trade UK cards) and we are not bound by any individual order limit you may impose on your employees.

3.11 If you are a trade customer, you may not withhold payment of any invoice or other amount due to us by reason of any right of set off or counterclaim, which you may have, or allege to have.

3.12 We shall be entitled at all times to set off any debt or claim which we may have against you against any sums due from us to you.

3.13 The format of our invoice and statements to you will solely be dictated by us.

4. Availability

All goods are subject to availability. While we endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders and purchases, if we have insufficient stock to supply or deliver the goods ordered and paid for by you, we will attempt to contact you using the details you have provided to us to ask you how you wish to proceed. We may, at our discretion, process any part of the order which is available. Where goods are out of stock, we will refund you the price paid for such goods as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days.

Our aim is that every item you order from Funky Rascal is dispatched in ideal condition. To this end, all items are hand-checked before being packaged and distributed.

However, in the event that you should wish to return an item, either for exchange or refund, this page outlines our policy on returns and refunds. Please note that our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.

C1. Items returned within the fourteen-day cooling off period

By law, from 13 June 2014 the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which implement the Consumer Rights Directive in UK law, came into effect.  The regulations apply to items bought online, at a distance, or away from a trader's premises (e.g. at home or at work).

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. You should get a refund within 14 days of either Funky Rascal getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the fourteen day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, please complete the Returns Form sent with your order and send it to:

We shall refund the cost of the item(s) and the basic delivery charges incurred in sending the item(s) to you. If you opted for enhanced service eg guaranteed next day, 1st class etc, we will refund only the cost for our standard delivery.

We shall not refund the cost of gift wrapping, your costs in returning the item(s) to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is damaged.

C2. Items returned because they are damaged or incorrect

If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged, please contact us directly PRIOR to sending your item to us, so we can give you instructions how we require the item sent back to us. We also ask you to complete the Returns Form sent with your order advising us if an exchange item or a refund is required.

In the case of a refund, we shall refund the cost of the item(s),any delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us. We shall also refund the cost of gift wrapping and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase, where applicable.

We shall check all items returned as damaged. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.

C3. Items returned under our 28-day returns guarantee

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between 15 and 28 days after delivery, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the item. We will not refund the cost of gift wrapping, delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.

C4. Gift Refunds

If you return a gift purchased for you at Funky Rascal, you'll receive a gift certificate/credit note for the value of your return, which you may use as part or full payment for future purchases from our website or to use in-store.

Please remember that normal returns criteria apply unless the return is due to an error on our part. If the return is not due to an error on our part, the refund will not include the cost of giftwrapping or other services provided to you in connection with the purchase, including the cost of returning the item to us.

C5. Payment of refunds

When you send your item(s) back to us we'll process the returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 days of us receiving your return.

C6. Condition of Items

All items being returned should be unused, in original packaging, with labels and tags intact. If items are not in such condition, we shall be unable to offer an exchange or refund.
